Digital Photo Frames - Photo Prints gone digital

Print-based photo frame is fast becoming old technology. With the advances made in digital technology, traditional photoframes are taking on a digital and technological slant. The merger of digital image displaying technology and the traditional photo frame is the very cool Digital Photo Frame.

With the digital photo frame, you no longer need to process your roll of film to get photo prints anymore. Neither do you need a PC or Mac to display your digital photos. All that is required is for you to slot the memory card from the digital camera into the card slot on the Digital Photo Frame. The basic Digital Photo Frame models can accept both MMC and SD format cards.  The more expensive models can also accept other formats too.

Digital Photo Frames are able to read digital bitmaps in JPEG format. This is the most common image file format that is supported by all digital compact cameras and DSLRs.
