Canon EOS 400D DSLR info
This is the Canon EOS 400D. It is probably the first consumer level Digital SLR camera. It is probably in the same league as the Nikon D40x.
EOS series of cameras generally tend to be very light and thus easy to carry. The cons is that compared to other brands EOS has a cheap-looking plastic feel. However, the LCD display screen, at 2.5 inch, is fairly big and clear. Another disadvantage is that the battery can go flat quite frequently.
EOS 400D appears to be the descendent of the earlier EOS 3oD Digital SLR camera. Instead of the 8 Megapixel limit of the EOS30D, the EOS 400D has a whopping 10.1 Megapixel sensor.
